UPSTAIRS BEDROOM 1 Master Suite upstairs is air conditioned and has a Queen size bed with built in wardrobe, private sitting room/ lounge with desk and full ensuite bathroom. BEDROOM 2 DOWNSTAIRS has a queen size bed with air conditioning and adjoining sunroom. Heaps of closet space and 2 x chest of drawers. WALK TO THE BEACH Just a 5 minute walk to Clovelly beach and the incredible coastal walk to Bronte, Tamarama, Bondi and Coogee beaches. YOUR HOST You will be welcomed to the house on arrival by Roslyn, who lives nearby and will be able to answer any questions and ensure your stay is trouble free. NEIGHBOURS Clovelly is very quiet and peaceful neighbourhood with the feeling of a village hidden in the middle of Sydney. We are tucked away from the busy streets, but still close to everything. There are great cafes, restaurants and bars within walking distance, and easy access to the beach and spectacular coastal walks. BUSES Easy bus access into the city centre (approx 40 min) taking you directly to Circular Quay and the Opera House. Easy bus access to a huge Westfield shopping mall (approx 15 min) in Bondi Junction. Full access to the entire home with the exception of Bedroom 4 which is used for owners storage. You will be welcomed to the house on arrival by Roslyn, who lives nearby and will be able to answer any questions and ensure your stay is trouble free. Clovelly is very quiet and peaceful neighbourhood with the feeling of a village hidden in the middle of Sydney. Allan Avenue is perfectly located - tucked away from the busy streets, but still close to everything. There are great cafes, restaurants and bars within walking distance, and easy access to the beach and spectacular coastal walks. COASTAL WALK The Bronte to Clovelly walk features the Waverley Cemetery and a cliff top board walk. Clovelly to Coogee is a hilly section with great views. If you are fit and curious Maroubra Beach or the Malabar Headland isn't that far. Either way the views are fantastic along the Bondi to Coogee walk. Make the most of the beautiful Bondi to Coogee walk's coastline by taking advantage of the many activities on offer along the Bondi to Coogee walk. EAT AND DRINK ALONG THE BEACHES All beaches along the Bondi to Coogee walk feature cafes, restaurants and take aways. Bondi is very cosmopolitan with vibrant cafés, restaurants. Numerous outdoor cafes can be found along Campbell Parade and Hall Street, just off the back of the beach. Tamarama has only one cafe, the recently rebuilt “Tama" cafe. Bronte Beach has a handful quality cafes and restaurants along Bronte Road opposite the beach. WATERSPORTS Visitors and locals can get in the ocean for watersports, fishing, and taking in the sights of the underwater environment SCUBA AND SNORKEL On the other side of the Clovelly car park is the entrance to the Gordon's Bay Underwater Nature Trail. This is a 500m underwater chain guiding divers past reefs, sand flats and kelp forests. OUTDOOR FREE GYM work up a sweat at several of the coastal walk's outdoor gym facilities, or cruise from beach to beach on guided bus or trike tours. SURF Catch a wave at iconic Bondi, Tamarama, Bronte or nearby Maroubra, you will benefit from local knowledge and professional coaching by signing up to Surf School BUSES Easy bus access into the city centre (approx 40 min) taking you directly to Circular Quay and the Opera House. Fabulous breakfasts and a sublime single origin roasters coffee menu is organic and gluten free open 7 days Breakfast and lunch -The Jilted Anchovy at 350 Clovelly Road does great pizzas. -Specc, next door at 344 Clovelly Road is a little more upmarket. -Seasalt Cafe is on the beach. Breakfast by the sea. Seasalt is where you want to be! The north facing outdoor terrace and cafe overlook Clovelly Beach -The Clovelly Hotel at 381 Clovelly Road is not just a local institution but a firm favourite with all Sydneysiders. Many different bars and places to eat and hang out. -Pizzavelly Italian Restaurant, 347 Clovelly Rd Clovelly 11AM-10PM 7 days. Italian Pizzeria and Restaurant EXPLORING AND SPORTS SCUBA DIVE Scuba diving from the easily accessible northern point is popular, and there is a local dive shop on Clovelly Road, Deep 6 Diving, 355 Clovelly Road, Snorkelling at Gordon's Bay.If you time the tides correctly, it is a great spot for snorkelling for any age. You can launch from a number of ladders along the concrete platforms that surround the water. There are many different fish species you can easily snorkel for 30-40 minutes observing fish foraging for food and darting around. Visit the resident blue groper. Many other colourful fish inhabit the protected inlet. It is easy swimming for most in all but the roughest weather. Another good spot is Gordon's Bay. The Gordons Bay Underwater Nature Trail is a self-guided scuba diving or snorkelling adventure. The trail can be compared to a bush walking track in the wilderness, only it's underwater. It usually takes about forty minutes to dive the 600 metre trail, or on a clear day it's possible to snorkel the underwater trail from the surface. Concrete filled drums about 20 meters apart linked by a chain form the trail with information displayed on steel plaques. You can see Long Finned Pikes, Old Wifes, Stingrays and Wobbegongs. SWIM Swimming from the sandy beach is great for families and electric barbeques are available, great for picnics. POOL There is also a 25-metre saltwater pool on the south side. BEACH PARKING Clovelly has free parking at the top of the cliff. It is a great lookout, particularly when looking straight down at the ocean. COASTAL WALK The Coogee to Bondi Beach cliff walk passes through Clovelly, before passing through the historic Waverley Cemetery when heading north. Gordon's Bay is adjacent to Clovelly Bay, also fabulous for schnorkelling and swimming, though is a rocky inlet without a beach to speak of. There is an underwater nature trail for divers. That should any of the rules 2, 3 and 4 above be broken, then the Property Owner or owner's agent is entitled to re-enter the premises and on their own appraisal, may elect to provide a warning or to terminate the stay immediately without owing compensation to the tenant. 6. To pay the cost of repair or replacement for any item(s) damaged or removed from the property. 7. Not to remove any of the furniture or effects from the premises. 8. Not to keep any animal or bird on the property. 9. That smoking is not permitted inside the home. 10. That no responsibility is taken for the Guest's personal property left on the premises. RELEASE The Guest agrees that the Property Owner is not responsible for personal property left on the premises. The Guest acknowledges that use of the house and grounds, including amenities such as the BBQ, stairs, garden, nearby beaches and ocean and the like may be potentially dangerous and involve potential risks if improperly used, particularly with regard to children, and such use is at the Guest's own risk. The Guest hereby waives and releases any claims against the Property Owner for any injuries or death that may be sustained by the Guest or by anyone associated with the Guest on or near the Property. The Guest agrees to use the Property and its facilities and amenities entirely at the Guest's own initiative, risk and responsibility. The Guest is also agreeing to not hold parties during their stay. Private dinner parties are welcome.
